Inaugural Ride - Monday, April 14th, 2025

Hey folks!

Great news! The forecast has changed for Monday, and we are now expecting 16 degrees and no rain for the evening. Thanks to this, I've decided to schedule the first ride of the season for Monday.

The plan is to meet at 5pm, ride a pretty relaxed pace for about 20km, and grab some coffee or snacks afterward downtown. We'll start by meeting outside of the War Museum, and finish at the Somerset Bridge. Folks are welcome to join anywhere along the route, and leave at any point.

Please note, if you're joining us form the beginning, we start the ride shortly after the advertised start (usually less then five minutes after the announced start time). If you are late, you can ride the route to catch up, or take a shortcut to link up with us.

So, how will this work?

Well, I'm still figuring this out, but my plan is currently to embed calendar invites into these posts. However, because of the way these links work, I won't get a signal that you RSVPed. Instead, I ask that you thumbs-up or thumbs-down this email (it's located at the bottom of the page) to let me know if you are/are not coming.

Route Details

Below is the route we'll be riding. It's entirely on asphalt, and after the ride we'll probably drop by a coffee shop near the finish (Little Victories perhaps?) if you'd like to mingle afterwards.
