Centretown Gravel - Sunday, June 28, 8 AM - Meech Creek Covered Bridge Ride
Hey folks,
I know many are doing the Full Cycle Dirty Mayo Ride on Sunday but I did not sign up in time. So going to be riding in Gatineau Park in the morning before it warms up. We'll be hitting the Pink Lake gravel, a section of Trail 1, the Meech Lake gravel, then following Trail 50 out towards the Meech Creek covered bridge. The Meech Lake section is the chunkiest with a few short hike-a-bike parts.
The route ends up a bit shorter than going all the way to Wakefield. There will be a McDonald's after the covered bridge around the halfway point where we can refill drinks before following the rail trail home along the Gatineau River.
Note - This route meets/starts near the War Museum, not Major's Hill Park
