Centretown Gravel - Saturday, September 6th, 1pm
Hi Folks!
Back with another ride on what looks to be a perfect day weather-wise! Ever thought about exploring past the Eastern Greenbelt? If so, this ride is for you! We'll be dashing through the city core to hop on the Prescott-Russell Rail Trail, leading us to scenic Heuvelmans Road. We'll take in a nice gravel loop before heading back through Orleans, where the Ottawa River Path will lead us back to the city.

Brings lots of hydration and snacks on this ride - there are no anticipated stops to refuel (though if needed we can easily detour into Navan or Orleans). If the group feels like a beach break, we could stop at Petrie Island for a rest and a snack on the way back.
Start Time: 1pm (departure max 1:05pm!)
Start Point: Somerset St W and Queen Elizabeth Parkway
Distance: 89km
Terrain: 57% Gravel, 470m elevation
Difficulty: Hard (mainly length, no major climbs)
Estimated Duration: 3.5-4 hours
End Point: Somerset St W and Queen Elizabeth Parkway
Note: If you reside in the east end and rather meet the group at the head of the PR trail, send me a note and we can arrange for that!

Hope to see you there!
Olivier
