Centretown Gravel - Saturday, August 30th, 3pm

Hi Everyone!

For those who don't know me, I have been a frequent rider with the Centretown Gravel Group and am looking forward to leading my first ride for this group. I am also planning a longer, 120km+ ride to the LaRose Forest in the early fall, let me know if that is of interest!

A chill ride for this Saturday, hitting up the Eastern and South Greenbelt, with a ride back into the city via MUPs.

Start Time: 3pm (departure max 3:05!)
Start Point: Somerset St W and Queen Elizabeth Parkway
Distance: 67km
Terrain: 50% Gravel
Difficulty: Moderate
Estimated Duration: 3-4 hours
End Point: Somerset St W and Queen Elizabeth Parkway

A few notes for the rides:

Depending on the group preference, we have the option to head into the McCarthy Woods as we head back into town.

The current route has us taking Albion Road, but we will take the new gravel path along the O-Train instead off of Lester Rd. (RidewithGPS doesn't have it mapped yet!).
